Bid		Strength		Meaning
1 :		11-20 high card points		Shows 3 plus Clubs.
1 :		11-20 high card points		Shows 3 plus Diamonds.
1 :		11-20 high card points		Shows 5 plus Hearts.
1 :		11-20 high card points		Shows 5 plus Spades.
1 NT:		10-13 high card points		Shows balanced shape.
2 :		21 plus high card points		Shows any shape.
2 :		6-10 high card points		Shows 6 Hearts or Spades, or
		20-21 high card points		Shows balanced shape.
2 :		6-10 high card points		Shows 5-5 distribution in rounded suits (Hearts and Clubs), or pointed suits (Spades and Diamonds).
2 :		6-10 high card points		Shows 5-5 distribution in black suits (Spades and Clubs), or red suits (Hearts and Diamonds).
2 NT:		6-10 high card points		Shows 5-5 distribution in either the Minor suits or Major suits.

A No Trump opening is variable: 10-13 high card points by favorable vulnerability and 12-14 by unfavorable vulnerability.
