The bidding system was developed by Mr. Brad Coles, (aka Redgrover), and Mr. David Appleton. Dated: April 19, 1999. Below are only the opening bids presented.
As described by the authors: This is a red system, which is based around a Marston-style Forcing Pass System and uses the Green-Appleton-Coles-Kalnins version of symmetric relays.
This system contains transfer one level suit openings, all of which are forcing. The concept of opening points is adhered to in some situations; they are the sum of high card points and the two longest suit lengths.
Mr. Brad Coles is known on the Internet as Redgrover and his website can be found at Brad's Systems Page.
Note: This information is only preserved and archived on this site in .pdf file format for future reference.
Note: Any contributed and/or additional information as to the two bridge personalities of Mr. Brad Coles and Mr. David Appleton would be greatly appreciated.
